“SPACE IS BLUE AND BIRDS ARE FLYING IN IT”

2012, 400 paintings – A4 paper, watercolour on paper, showcased as a cohesive ensemble. Space is blue and birds are flying in it ” is a written diary in images initiated in 2008 which is also an answer to the work “Open reading frame ”. Memories never live in their original diaspora and they never find their place in time. They always rent consciousnesses in perpetual motion while uncovering worlds that we did not know to have lived. The title is a phrase of the German physicist Werner Heisenberg, chosen in consideration of the question that hovers about its author which is the idea that he has contributed to the construction of a Nazi bomb, decisive for the outcome of the war, which would then, shocked even more the understanding of the time.

2012, 400 dipinti – carta formato A4, acquerello su carta; 1 lato coperto interamente con i dipinti. “Space is blue and birds are flying in it” (“Lo spazio è blu e gli uccelli volano dentro”) è la risposta al lavoro “Open reading frame”, diario scritto in immagini dal 2008 in poi. I ricordi non abitano mai la loro diaspora originaria e non trovano il loro posto nel tempo,  affittano coscienze in perpetuo movimento scoprendoci  mondi che non sapevamo di aver vissuto. Il titolo è una frase del fisico tedesco Werner Heisenberg, scelto anche in considerazione del dubbio che aleggia sul suo autore, quello di aver contribuito alla costruzione di una bomba nazista, decisiva per l’esito della guerra, che avrebbe dunque, sconvolto ancora di più l’intesa del tempo.
